Helo friends in MIP,,, my lifes changing again,,, major !! the old mansion we lived in,, me all my 46 year life is being demolished this month end,,,its seen 6 generations of my family live here !! all of my life story is from here,,, i was feeling sad till i realised this was a change for the better !!! Im greatful for the Good things in my life visavis home and hearth,,, I thought NA only promised us freedom from active addiction,,,, and now Im reminded that we need to be aware that money ,property,and prestige matters can divert us from our primary purpose in staying clean and then carrying the message by working with others in NA ,,,, if I get obssessed with em,,, like our co-founder te late great Jimmy Kinnon (may his soul R.I.P)said in a sharing once """"yes these money ,power and sex things are legitimate pursuits of a human being but we addicts tend to get obssessed and then diverted "" Just for today I remember that the most important thing in my life this day is to stay clean and serene !!! ,,,, living and enjoying life without the use of drugs !

Hugs wantneeda dn Vini,,, yes !!! theres also the line about= dont keep staring at the door that slammed shut in your face,,, just walk on and another one will open !!! Ha, ha,, Well now hers a photo of the shed where an NA friend and I started the International Hope group way back in 1989 ,,,, Bangalore India ,,, we met each Tuesday and even had a newcomer in the seven months of its existance. those were the days of snail mail and very few NA members and very intense taboo and ostracisation of addicts,,, however the bright part is that there were H&I efforts from there as welll as ditribution of literature and PI,,, members did attend and when there was none,,, I just read the Starter and then read sharings from the NA meeting by mailand nthen wrote my share and posted it next day !!! Most importantly it gave me focus and hope in my recovery and I Bless my friend Sean.n,,, ex Bombay now in Australia,,,,, he was my first NA Guide !!!
Ah, Raman, it looks as if new adventures are coming your way. As you already know: You can follow your path kicking and screaming and holding on to the past, or you can go willingly with peace and acceptance and a positive eye toward the future. Looks like either way you're going, so I'm happy for you that you have acceptance and peace. I look forward to reading about your journey!

yes Blithe,,, the first instinct is to kick,scream,cuss,,then lo and behold,, the Miracle happens and Silence sets in,, I truly beileve Gods got a Silent Voice,, Gods a Perfect emotion,, Gods love is colour and class blind !!! i dont know what id do if i didnt have the God concept,,, the FORCETHATKEEPSADDICTSCLEANANDSERENE !!!
