I show up for my mens stag meeting and about 5:10 10 minutes AFTER the meetisn supposed to start I realize (HEY DUH DUDE) Monday was yesterday and you missed the meeting numbnutz LOL
So I'm like hanging around and I see that an AA meeting is about to start so I go in to check out my old program.
Man i'm glad I did it was a step meeting step 10 and I got SLAMMED HARD, I have really been battling my anger lately and put my fist threw a wall yesterday DAH DAH DAH, I had been making amends and feeling the emotional hangovers that the AA step books describes.
So I came home and read NA's step book on the 10th steps basically it reads the same.
Just something that happened today that i'm greatful for.
Hey Big V, you missed a day, lucky thing right!! Different things happen and there are reasons for them some times. I am glad that you got some help on the anger thing. I find myself falling into a rage for no reason some times. Feel kind of stupid afterwards.
Glad to hear good things are happening for you.

Your post made me laugh! I went to a meeting once and was FURIOUS that no one had shown up! I went on and on about the irresponsibility of the home group members and what about the newcomer and blah blah blah.
Only to discover later that day that the clocks had changed and I had arrived an hour early. DUH. Wasn't I the fool?
Wow, that would have been a great recovery meeting on Step Ten. Glad you made it. God's will I guess. yeah, on occasions, I also get at the wrong place to realize that the meeting is at a different place, due to confusing the days

Same exact thing happened to me a month, lol! I went to my regular tuesday NA meeting at 8 pm. I was early, got out the meeting format and waited. When some strange faces showed up, it still didn't hit me. I started the meeting reading out of the NA format when someone stopped me. "This is the monday night AA meeting", they said. I felt like a total idiot (for a min), then I was glad to meet some new people. Meeting was very beneficial.
It was Great Tahir i was SO glad I stayed around I had an excuse to leave but that inner voice said stay so as I waited I filled out a contract for some work I was going to do for a customer by the time I got done people started shoing up for the AA meeting. Room full of newcomers only a few ol farts :)
