I was wondering if everyone wanted to put their cleandates here so that we could start sending out congratulations to all members celebrating... :)


What does everyone think about this idea?  I would be willing to begin a calendar for the group and add people as they post their cleandates :)

I would like to clarify what I will do as far as the birthdays go. For the newcomers :)

We will celebrate 30 60 and 90 days clean....after that, we will go back to the original cleandate and set it to let us know when 6 months is.....which will be something like this.

I will use myself as an example....as if today were my cleandate.

09/06/2007

My 30 days is: 10/05/2007
My 60 days is: 11/04/2007
My 90 days is: 12/04/2007

Counting by days throws things off a bit. After the 90 days, we will go back to the cleandate again rather than days and everything goes from that date.

My 6 months is: 03/06/2008
My 9 months is: 06/06/2008
My one year is: 09/06/2008

There are many ways of counting cleantime. This is what I have used mostly, for others as well as myself. Let me know if you have a problem with anything. Love and Hugs, G

He IS a dinosaur of accumulated wisdom you know. Believe me, his presence at meetings and his shares has been an experience of bliss and fun for me here at our hometown (even though we rarely are at the same meeting at the same time)...

But beware, he can never go extinct as a dinosaur would. He Keeps Coming Back from all that life may throw at him, with more amazing energy and insights each timebiggrin

I am Robyn, haven't been to the meeting room is quite sometime....I signed up with an IOP, just completed 3 weeks 3 more to go, then will be in Relapse prevention for 6-12 weeks.  will be 30 days clean come Monday!  yippee finally made a whole month!smile

thanks, my friend......i am going to start to meetings tommorow night, i think, but will have to get my husband to tape "Dog" for me, ha!  i find partof my inspiration in people i don't know, but who i know have gotten clean, Dog Chapman, Steve Earle, Jerry Jeff Walker...ha, all of those country singers seem to have trouble staying clear of the substances, too.....

thanks again, Day #2 here, i woke up feeling like hell, sweating, just sick and dying for a Vicodin, no more in the house now, no more refills at the pharmacy...so, this is the end of the road for me, in that regard anyway...
