Good Morning everyone, I am doing a workshop later on this year in which we will be making God Boxes. Would you please share with me your favorite slogan or saying that you hear in meetings.

One of my favorites is from the reading that I listen to at the start of the meetings that goes... "There is one thing more than anything else that will defeat us in our recovery. This is an attitude of indifference or intolerance towards spiritual principles."
One of my own that is a redo of a very common NA cliche is... "If it ain't spiritual, it ain't practical."
Another one that I use when I find myself entertaining thoughts of using that I also pass on to newcomers when they are going through a craving is... "Inaction is the magic word."
Other meeting quotes that I strongly identify with and that have helped me in my recovery are: Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what life is all about, asking what you purpose is, be thankful. There are those who did not live long enough to get that opportunity. "Things aren't necessarily going wrong just because they're not going my way" "The worst prison is in your own mind" "I can't stay clean today on yesterday's recovery"
There are many more that I hope to add later to this great topic. Gotta go to my evening f2f meeting now

Hi,, heres one I made for myself to say out loud when I feel "weirded' by meeting atmosphere or behaviour of members towards me= "Ye NA sucks but so what ? Im a sucker for it" And anothetr one thats an extension of something in the Basic Text is= "'yu cant save face and ass at the same time,so get your ass out of the way " (this one always makes me laugh !!!)
