You can check out what each of the local NA meetings is listed as - open or closed. Mostly a few of the NA meetings are open to non-addicts like family members or any other person interested in the NA message, and I'm sure your community will also have such open NA meetings too. Just check out the local meeting directory or if that is not mentioned there, get the local NA helpline number or contact a NA member thru phone or mail there in your town. He or she would be able to guide you to the open meetings.

Also, there is a sister fellowship called "Nar-Anon Family Groups" for the loved ones of addicts, and it is a wonderful opportunity and pathway for understanding and personal healing. I'm also a part of this fellowship, as apart from being an addict myself, I'm also a spouse of an addict.
