I want to give you huge hugs for making an effort thats what it takes just a little effort towards your recovery goes a long long ways.
Our lives were a shambles out there using, life is still difficult but this too shall pass.
I had a horrible existance for many many years, many relapses, times locked away from society, times in rehad and detox, on the streets in dark alley ways, beaten up and beaten down hopeless and lost desperate for help, dying, even dead inside.
But we have a place to go now and i want to welcome all of you guys and gals this is a wonderful thing we have , lives transform, its not a field of daisys all the time, it takes work and down right sweat and blood and its even painful alot of us had bad thiings happen to us but we can find the strength through others if need be to get us past all of that.
find a higher power make it this place and NA for now if you have nothing else, turn your life over and trust that whats suggested in NA will change your life around, It has mine and I was one sick very sick puppy, but no matter what age we're all just puppys/children and we can learn to change our lives around by following a few suggestions.
The miracle can happen make it happen, give yourself a freaken break and try it you deserve better its well worth the effort.
Off my soapbox now I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you for being there not just for me but for yourselves give YOURSELF credit for showing up and for caring about yourself.
I am Vini, i'm an addict, I am an acitve member of society who is loved and trusted today, who works and walks in the spirit of NA the best I can which is 180 degrees turn around from where i was.

Everyone is worth the effort though we may not think so and we may have given up on ourselves we have to get up and stand on our feetsies and at least try, i've had to do it over and over again and again.
It's the man who falls and gets back up to try again another day, he's earned the prize...or something liken to that!
