Thank you all for the really warm welcome i've received here, and yes, I am part of the NA program. I got a sponsor yesterday and he said I have 90 NA meetings in 90 days. It is sooo weird being sober, kinda fun but real scary. It's a new life that's for sure and everything is diffirent. My body still aches and it hurts moving around and doing regular stuff. I guess it will get better but the road is long, i mean, i didn't become an addict overnight and I can't be normal instantly. They say it takes months to feel normal (up to 8)! Thank you all.
It's wonderful to hear you are still doing so well Magellan. If you've got a sponsor now and are going to do 90/90, you are well on your way. And yes, the process of having your brain, emotions, thoughts, sleep, perceptions, etc. get normalized can take 6-8 months, but it's so worth it. We're glad to have you as a new member.
