Childhood heros

I had two.  In fact, they remain my heroes.  They have both shaped my life for good in ways are beyond what I can calculate.

I contacted them both today via e-mail and explained how they have positively impacted my life.

AND ONE OF THEM JUST CALLED ME!

I did not think I had that level of exhilaration in me ...

Strange...exhilarating but also cleansing.  I felt the child in me rejoice and thank me for making a dream come true.

Hi KJ_88,

First post and you chose mine to do it in! I feel honored. :)

Serious as I can be now... welcome aboard - and if you desire, welcome home. If you're new to NA, let me be the first to tell you: You never have to pick up again. Ever. Better than that, you can stop wanting it. Better even than that - you can even stop thinking about it.
